Creating GedCom File on Mac Operating System

When you create your GedCom file on a Apple computer (Mac OS), please make sure that you transfer your file (using a FTP program) in ASCII mode. See this article (and many others) for further details:

Beta 03 version for Joomla! 1.6 is released (January 2011)
With this beta3 version, the following features are released for Joomla 1.6
- Added a Gendex (GENealogical inDEX) function

Not showing ancestors / descendants 1.3.0

Sorry. I just found a small bug in v1.3.0.
The file of February 6, 2011, contained a small bug which resulted in not showing ancestors/descendants of a person. This is fixed in the file of February 9, 2011.
If you downloaded the installation file before today, please, upgrade to the latest joaktree,

I discovered a bug in the name list. When no names where searched for, a warning message appeares in combination with an empty name list.
I created a fix for this bug. You can download it from my site.
It contains one file which replaces the existing file in components/com_joaktree/models directory.
There is no automatic upgrade from the Joomla installer. You have to replace it yourself.
Excuses for this inconvenience. I will test my software better in the future.

Hoi Niels,
Ik maak gebruik van Joomla 1.6 en Joatree 1.3.0.. Nu zie ik dat bij de voorouders en afstammelingen geen informatie komt staan. Terwijl deze er wel zijn.
Max execution time

Niels,
Ben wat aan het stoeien geweest met versie 1.2.8 voor Joomla 1.5 i.v.m. de foutmelding max execution time. Deze verhogen naar 180 had geen succes, door echter eveneens de string max input time te verhogen naar 180 kreeg ik lokaal in ieder geval alles geïmporteerd. Misschien geeft dit je een aanwijzing.

Error with upgrading v1.3.1 to v1.3.2

Just reported ...
One user reported to have a problem using the upgrade package (Joaktree version 1.3.1 to version 1.3.2). It seems that everytime I use it, the graphical output is getting lost. Only deinstalling, new install of full package and new import of GedCom File will fix this.
