How Is Progress Going?
Posted Saturday, 24 July 2010 By J Liggins
I have been watching development of this badly needed Component for a couple of months now, and after going around in circles trying to use TNG with a newer TNG Plugin for Joomla, have abandoned that option and gone for installing and utilising Joaktree.
One thing that is important to me is that this isn't one of those Components that get started, and then development comes to a halt, so I just wanted to check that further development of Joaktree is still being undertaken.
As mentioned, this is a very much needed Component for Joomla, and your hard work is most appreciated! Please keep it up :)

Development of the Joaktree component will continue, but - as it is a hobby, not my profession - it will happen on a time scale which is convenient to me.
So, I will not make any promisses about future releases, newly added functionality, and alike.
My aim is to develop a version of Joaktree in the fall of 2010 which is comaptible with Joomla 1.6.
After that, I will look into new adding new features to the component.
